What Is the TSI Assessment?

The TSI Assessment (TSIA) is part of the Texas Success Effort program designed to help your university or college determine if you are ready for college-level training course work in the areas of reading, composing, and mathematics. If you are an inbound university student in Texas, you are needed to take the TSI Assessment - unless you are currently exempt (checked out listed below) - to establish your readiness for a college-level job. Based upon exactly how you perform, you might either be enrolled in a college-level training course and/or be placed in the proper developmental course or intervention to enhance your skills and prepare you for success in college-level courses.
